Settings…

The User can set different preferences to tailor the application. Some settings, like colors and style, don't interact with analysis activities and can therefore not be saved as part of a configuration. Other settings, such as requirement attributes, are part of the configuration and can be saved, either in the Data Repository or as a file to a Folder. See more on Configuration files.

Style

Open the Settings… window and select Style in the Toolbar. The Style settings provide a limited look-and-feel that is personal and cannot be saved as part of a configuration.

  • Select Open to set a Logo in Navigate > Information. The Logo file need to have a common format, such as jpg, png, or tiff. The Logo file may be located anywhere on the computer.
  • For Appearance, select light, dark or automatic appearance for application windows and contents. Automatic appearance switches the appearance between light and dark based on the Night Shift schedule that is set in macOS.

Attributes

Open the Settings… window and select Attributes in the Toolbar. The view enables the creation of different Attribute and Value names. An Attribute have normally one or more Value names. Attributes and Values are part of the configuration and can be saved.

License

Open the Settings… window and select License in the Toolbar. The view displays License information. Because a license is personal (there is no license server) it should be handled with responsibility.

  • To install a license, drag and drop the license file where the icon is in the window. A valid license file changes the icon and unlocks the application.
