Readability Indexes

Four different types of readability indexes can be calculated for the contents of a Specification. The Readability Indexes that are calculated on the Specification level and the Requirement level use the same algorithm.

All indexes, except the Lix readability index, produce an approximate representation of the U.S. grade level needed to comprehend a text. The Lix readability measure indicates the difficulty to read a text.
