Exporting Issues to Spreadsheets
Issues that have been generated by the analysis of a Specification can be exported to a CSV formatted file (Comma Separated Values). The CSV file can be imported into Apple Numbers or Microsoft Excel or any other spreadsheet program that handles the CSV format. The user can select what type of information to be exported.
Chapter numbers are surrounded by single quotes to distinguish them from dates. The export transforms semicolons into commas to prevent the spreadsheet application from reading semicolons as new values.
The line number column describes the line number in the XML document, not in the formatted document.
Project Managers or Quality Assurance engineers can use the exported Issues to follow up on progress and quality without the rCoach One application. Spreadsheets make it possible to integrate analysis results with other processes in the project.
