Using Abbreviations
Abbreviations can be used by a requirement if they are explained in the abbreviations chapter. Examples of abbreviations are: "ISO", "XML", "DTD" and "LDAP".
The abbreviation is already defined.
The abbreviation has already been defined.
The abbreviation is defined but never used.
The Author has made an abbreviation that is never used. An abbreviation needs to be used at least once, in a plain text element or in a requirement text element.
